Study on Goal-Directed Movements

The Perceptual-Motor Behaviour Laboratory under the Faculty of Kinesiology and Physical Education at University of Toronto is conducting a study investigating how humans use multisensory information during goal-directed movements.

Participant Criteria

  • Healthy and right handed.
  • Aged 17 to 47 years old. 

What is involved?

  • 1 hour visit to our lab.
  • Use of tendon vibration and liquid crystal goggles to influence sensory information.
  • Perform goal-directed aiming movements.

Compensation:

  • 10$ / hour.
  • Contribute to neuromotor learning literature and the scientific community.
  • Gain knowledge about motor control.
  • Utilize state-of-the-art motion tracking equipment and liquid crystal goggles.
