From the research and expertise of U of T to the gym training floor, IMPACT Training is a progressive workout program that meets you where you are and helps you advance from week to week. Whether your goals are related to performance for sport or performance for life, are you ready to make an IMPACT on your fitness?

IMPACT stands for Integrated Movement, Performance, Agility and Conditioning Team. Detailed programming and a personalized coaching experience, combined with the comradery of a team will have you training like a pro in no time.

  • Led by an expert coach in a small-group training environment

  • Class options include co-ed, women-only and IMPACT Proud

Students: U of T students paying incidental fees for the current term can access this program for an additional fee. 

Members: Anyone who has a current Sport & Rec membership can access this programming for an additional fee.

Get stronger, move better and enhance your performance with IMPACT Training. Come train in a team environment and get your sweat on! With the IMPACT Training Pass, you will get access to all eligible IMPACT sessions!

  • 6 sessions offered a week at the Athletic Centre Field House Periphery (ACFHP) and Goldring Centre SCC (GCSCC)
  • 12:1 participants-to-coach ratio

Women-only IMPACT sessions offer the chance for women to work out safely and comfortably. Only women-identifying staff will be coaching these sessions.

IMPACT Proud is an exciting new edition to our IMPACT Training programs. The same great training with an added emphasis on Inclusion and Belonging. It is uniquely, specifically, and carefully designed with trans, non-binary and Two-spirit folks in mind. IMPACT Proud is more than just a fitness program it's your new community. We can't wait to have you on the IMPACT Proud team.  Your training program starts with a community agreement so that you can be sure all your IMPACT Proud teammates have made a commitment to inclusion and belonging. You'll learn all the basics of training in a weight room, all the coolest weight training modalities, and experience workouts that will leave you feeling amazing. We'll show you that you have everything it takes to confidently take up space in the gym and explore what your body can do. If you've never been to the gym, no sweat (pun intended), we will meet you each week and take you to the training space. This detailed training program and personalized coaching experience led by members of the trans, two spirit, non-binary, 2SLGBTQ+ community, combined with the camaraderie of a team will have you training like a pro in no time. 

All experience levels and identities are welcome and encouraged. This is for you!

Equipment & What to Wear

Participants are asked to wear comfortable and appropriate attire and footwear that's suitable for fitness and gym activities. All equipment will be provided for the workout.
