Voluntary Reaching Movements (age 18-47, right handed)

You are invited to participate in a research study in the Perceptual Motor BehaviourLaboratory at the University of Toronto (55 Harbord Street, Warren Stevens Building - Room 2021F). We examine the use of sensory information both during voluntary movement, or in the absence of voluntary movement. In this experiment you will perform voluntary reaching movements on an aiming board when targets are presented.

 

Are you:      1) between 18 – 47 years of age, and

2) have normal or corrected-to-normal vision, and

3) right hand dominant, and

4) free from major neurological conditions

 

If so, you mayqualify to participate in this study. You will be compensated for your time over one session lasting less than 60 minutes($10).The risks associated with participation in this study will be explained to you on first contact with the experimenter, or if needed, over email inquiry. At the same time, your eligibility will be confirmed. Space is limited, and as such, expressing your willingness to participate does not guarantee participation.
