Expore more of Toronto with an urban hike from Sport & Rec, in partnership with the Centre for International Experience (CIE), Health and Wellness, and Let's Hike T.O.! 

Welcome to the Toronto Sightseeing and Historical Walk! This urban hike will take you around downtown Toronto, past many attractions like the AGO, Kensington Market, CN Tower, Graffiti Ally, Roundhouse Park and more, ending at the St Lawrence market! This walk is a great way to see more of downtown Toronto and learn a bit about the history of the places we visit.

The route is approximately 8 km, consisting of mostly paved terrain. This hike is family friendly. 

Start end end points. We'll start the hike at the Yonge and King intersection, and end the hike at St Lawrence market, for you to continue exploring on your own. 

What to bring. We encourage you to bring a water bottle, comfortable walking shoes, and a fully charged phone or camera for photos (and maybe some snacks for the walk!). Please also bring rain gear if it is in the forecast.

Let's Hike T.O. is a hiking community open to everyone with a focus on people of colour, newcomers, and young adults (20-40) - that's you! Let's Hike T.O. has partnered with the University of Toronto Sports & Rec to offer monthly hikes throughout the fall, spring and summer. These special hikes will leave from around the St. George Campus and will take students on a journey through local streets, green spaces, and ravines.

You're invited to come connect, learn, build community and friendships, and enjoy gentle movement outdoors together. Register today as spots are limited! Further details and reminders will be emailed to registrants before the hike.
